Top of the Knob Productions regrets that we must cancel September’s Cabin Fever Reliever festival due to the Covid-19 pandemic. To fully support official guidance on mass gatherings, we decided that we should not proceed with an event that brings together so many people. Every artist, crew, staff member, and attendee is important to us and we cannot risk anyone’s health or safety. As music lovers ourselves, we long to be in front of the stage, laughing and dancing with friends. We also feel for the struggling artists and all those who support them in the live music industry. But we must join with the many festivals and venues throughout the country who have chosen to put safety first.
Ticket holders will be sent an email with instructions on how to receive a refund for their tickets or make a donation to the venue. Independent venues are struggling to stay afloat in these hard times. If you are able to donate your ticket back to the farm, we appreciate your help more than you know.
The good news is we are NOT giving up on live music! We are considering opportunities to have private events later this fall and next year, at a much smaller capacity - look for details here soon. Thank you for your understanding in these hard times. Sending love to you all.
We will be partnering with Zero Waste Event Productions at our festivals in an effort to reduce waste sent to the landfill. Their team will be working hard throughout the event to keep the grounds clean and comfortable and sort through all material to separate recycling and compost from the landfill. Please play your part by cleaning up after yourself, using the proper bins when disposing of material, and picking up your campsite before you leave. Stop by their tent during the event to learn more about the waste reduction efforts and, if you are a smoker get a free pocket ashtray! Those wishing to volunteer should contact Shannon@zerowastefest.com.
We would like to remind our patrons that the purpose of our music festivals is the enjoyment of live music in a beautiful outdoor environment. Any illegal activity puts everyone at risk, and it puts us at risk of losing our ability to do business on this property. We have a professional security team on site during each event, and they have the right to search your vehicle and bags upon entering the venue. The Mercer County Sheriff’s department has the right to enter the venue at any time to enforce state and federal laws, and the KY State Police have the right to set up roadblocks. Please take this zero tolerance policy very seriously. Be smart, be safe, and please enjoy the wonderful music we have lined up for you.
